PUBLIC INVITATION
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORKSHOP KEY Q+ - VALORIZATION OF CULTURE AND AGRICULTURAL, LOCAL PRODUCTS

I

Key Q+ – „Culture and tourism as key quality factors for the cross-border development of Italy and Croatia”, is a project that aims to improve the tourism offer of the cross-border region by developing a unique tourism product, based on the common cultural and culinary heritage that ties the Croatian and Italian border regions, and on exploring and discovering the flavors, aromas and customs of rural regions that surround the northern part of the Adriatic Sea.

The main results of the project will be a culinary guide and a tourist itinerary, and didactic programs and workshops where tourism and hospitality professionals from the cross-border region can exchange their experiences, as well as the creation of seven Key Q+ locations that will serve as benchmarks for professionals, tourists and citizens interested in culture and gastronomy.

Mali Lošinj Tourist Board invites:
(1) cooks, waiters and other tourism and hospitality professionals – 10 participants;
(2) lecturers at tourism and hospitality schools, and trainers and educators from other educational institutions for the hospitality industry – 5 participants.

The workshop is free for all participants and will take place on 27 November 2018 at the Hotel Aurora’s Restaurant at 11 a.m. The workshop’s topic is Traditional flavors of the sea and the mountains.

Two menus will be presented:
(1) Sea bass Carpaccio with salted fish dressing, grilled sesame-crusted shark, cheesecake, a glass of white wine Malvazija (Medea) – Nemanja Simić (Mali Lošinj)
(2) Roll cooked in cloth and Jota - Benito Colmani (Cividale del Friuli)

The participation in the workshop is open to the above mentioned target groups from Croatia and/or Italy. Applications are accepted until all the available spots are filled, and are to be sent to the following e-mail address: losinj@visitlosinj.hr
