KROKANT OF LOŠINJ CROCANTESSA

The new island product was ceremonially presented on July 6, 2023 in the Museum of Apoxyomenos.
This luxurious dainty used to celebrate important events, typical of the nautical golden age of #Losinj . The tradition of krokant preparation was preserved by the wives of Lošinj's seamen. In the wealthy households of captains & ship owners, sumptuous almond brittle was made purely from sugar & almonds.
It is only available on the Lošinj island:
