LIMUNCELLO & CREMONCELLO by chef Sasso

LIMUNCELLO and KREMONCELLO by Chef Sasso are homemade liqueurs crafted from island lemons, free from pesticides, and primarily sourced from the island of Lošinj. The liqueurs contain no artificial flavours or dyes. Lemons are hand-peeled, and the entire process is done manually, with quantities limited. These are the island's pioneers, created without any 'equipment' or mechanics. The lemon zest content in the product is above average, giving the products an intense colour and flavour.
Each unsprayed island lemon is carefully washed and peeled by hand. The peeling process is done manually to avoid the 'white part' of the peel, which imparts bitterness. The peels are mixed and macerated in ethyl alcohol for over 3 weeks. The flavoured ethyl alcohol is then mixed with dissolved sugar and water. For Kremoncello, boiled low-fat milk is added. Bottles, labels, and tags are also manually applied and packaged.
Kremoncello is a creamy lemon liqueur made with boiled low-fat milk, and when combined with ethanol alcohol, it has an unlimited shelf life. Both are recommended to be consumed chilled, directly from the refrigerator without ice.
The liqueurs are available in 500ml and 250ml bottles.

Chef Sasso, the mastermind behind the beloved Limuncello and Kremocello liqueurs, draws inspiration from his grandmother's cherished Tuscan recipe.                                                                                            For over 17 years, he has been delighting guests at his Bora Bar tavern with these exquisite liqueurs. Additionally, Chef Sasso proudly presents his creation, the Wild boar ragù, a highlight featured on the menu of Bora Bar, the renowned eatery in Veli Lošinj.
