Lopari Bike Weekend 2026 brings a unique weekend of active holidays, outdoor adventure and one of the most spectacular cycling climbs on the Adriatic.
Lopari Bike Weekend, taking place from 18 to 20 September, is much more than an MTB race – it is an active holiday weekend designed for everyone: competitors, recreational cyclists, active families and nature lovers.
The programme offers a wide range of activities for all generations and fitness levels – from an easy jogging route along the seaside promenade between Nerezine and Osor, family hiking tours and windsurfing school, to MTB climbs to the peaks of Osoršćica: Mažova Gora (St. Gaudent Mountain Hut) and Televrin. Participants are free to choose their own pace and experience – enjoy the entire weekend programme or simply take part in the activities that suit you best. E-bikes are welcome!
The highlight of the weekend takes place on Saturday, 19 September, with two MTB races leading to the peaks of Osoršćica, one of the Adriatic's most attractive island mountains. Riders can choose between two routes: a shorter and more accessible 8 km course finishing at St. Gaudent Mountain Hut, or a more demanding 11 km course reaching Televrin, the highest point on the island of Lošinj.
Both races start at Lopari Camping Resort, continue through the historic town of Osor, and climb towards the peaks of Osoršćica through a landscape where the sea and the mountains meet in a truly unique way. Every kilometre rewards participants with breathtaking views over the Kvarner Bay, Istria, Cres, Lošinj and the surrounding islands, creating the unforgettable feeling of riding literally between the sea and the sky.
Osoršćica is far more than a sporting challenge – it is a unique experience of nature, freedom and spectacular scenery. The climb tests riders' endurance while rewarding them with one of the most impressive panoramic views on the Adriatic.
Throughout the weekend, Lopari Camping Resort becomes the central gathering place for athletes, visitors and outdoor enthusiasts. Alongside the sporting programme, guests can enjoy social events, local island gastronomy, an after-race party and many additional activities that create a relaxed festival atmosphere.
