On Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at 7 p.m., at the Museum of Apoxyomenos in Mali Lošinj, the Rijeka Piano Trio will perform as part of the first season of the KAŠMAN chamber music concert series.
The audience can look forward to an evening of music dedicated to two major names in classical and Argentine music: Antonín Dvořák and Astor Piazzolla.
The Rijeka Piano Trio consists of distinguished musicians: Filip Fak, piano, Krunoslav Marić, violin, and Vid Veljak, cello. Through their interpretative approach, they will present two works which, although created in different musical and cultural contexts, are connected by a strong personal expression, rhythmic vitality and the richness of chamber music interaction.
The programme features Antonín Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 4 in E minor, Op. 90, “Dumky”, one of the Czech composer’s best-known works.
The second part of the concert will feature Astor Piazzolla’s “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires”, arranged for piano trio by José Bragato.
The KAŠMAN series is organised by the Cristoforium Arts Organisation, in partnership with the Lošinj Museum, the Mali Lošinj Open University, the Town of Mali Lošinj, the Tourist Board of the Town of Mali Lošinj, Osor Musical Evenings, Lošinj Hotels & Villas and Jadranka Turizam.
