Tihomir Hojsak (double bass) and Filip Novosel (tambura) have long been recognized as two outstanding instrumentalists. Beyond their virtuosity, they compose original music rooted in Croatian tradition and perform it on stages across the globe. They have also collaborated with one of Bulgaria’s greatest musicians, Theodosii Spassov. A renowned *kaval* player, vocalist, composer, and artist, Spassov has received numerous accolades, most notably a Grammy Award for his collaboration with the Sofia Women's Radio Choir. *Newsweek* magazine has hailed him as one of the most talented musicians in Eastern Europe, noting that he has "invented a completely new musical genre." Through his virtuosic *kaval* (a type of Bulgarian flute) playing, Spassov fuses Bulgarian tradition with jazz—incorporating influences from classical music as well as the traditions of other cultures and nations—much like Hojsak and Novosel skillfully do with the *tambura* and double bass. Their open-air performance in the central square of Osor will mark the conclusion of the festival's 51st edition.
