The decoration of the village and the creation of Christmas ornaments will begin a few days earlier, accompanied by gatherings and creative workshops for all generations.
From 5th December, the Advent tent will be open every afternoon. It will be located next to the market, easily recognizable by its warm Christmas atmosphere, music, and festive scents.
All proceeds collected in the Advent tent will be used to create a playroom for the children of Susak.
Programme
5 December – 3rd Squid Fishing Competition (Lignjada) on Susak
Due to poor weather conditions, the Squid Fishing Competition has been postponed to 13 December.
Registrations are open until departure, and the competition runs from 12:00 to 18:00. After the competition, there will be weighing and announcing the winners, awarding prizes, and socializing with food, drinks, and freshly cooked catch.
23 December – Christmas Cookie Workshop
As every year, the cookie-making workshop will be held in Konoba Barbara at 15:00.
24 December – Christmas Eve
We will celebrate Christmas Eve in front of the church, right after Midnight Mass, with music and togetherness.
25 December – Christmas Morning
After the morning Mass, we will distribute our handmade cookies in front of the church and spend time together accompanied by Christmas songs.
31 December – New Year’s Eve Celebration
Let’s say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one together with music, good cheer, and a festive atmosphere.
