For the sixteenth consecutive year, the captivating exhibition project "On the sails" will tour squares and promenades along the Croatian Adriatic. During the summer of 2026, the exhibition will be showcased at ten destinations across Istria and the Northern Adriatic, attracting a large number of visitors.
About the "Friends of the Sea" Project
The Rijeka-based association Livingstone and the company Astoria launched the national cultural and tourism campaign "Friends of the Sea" in 2009. The goal of the campaign is to use large-format outdoor photography exhibitions during the summer months to draw attention to the role of photography in media culture, as well as to promote social responsibility and the ongoing importance of preserving ecology and the Adriatic Sea.
