The 51st Osor Music Evenings will begin with a performance by the Festival String Ensemble, led by Stefan Milenkovich and Monika Leskovar. The program will feature Sinfonietta by the most important Croatian composer of the 20th century, Boris Papandopulo, and another work by a local composer – the premiere of Nebo nad Osor by Zoran Juranić. The ensemble will also perform the famous Octet in E flat major by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The concert will be broadcast live by viewers and listeners of Croatian Radio and Television, as well as listeners around the world: the opening concert is included in the official program of the European Broadcasting Union's "Euroradio Summer Festivals 2026".
