During the Losinava Festival, the port of Mali Lošinj transforms into the stage for a unique experience – a free ride in an authentic Venetian gondola! Gondolier Andrea Balbi, coming directly from Venice, will navigate the elegant vessel along the route from Priko to the Lošinj Captains’ Quay every morning and afternoon (September 11–14; from 9 AM–12 PM and 6 PM–9 PM).
The gondola, a symbol of Venice and artisanal craftsmanship, is made from no less than eight types of wood and, thanks to its perfect balance, ensures a stable and quiet ride.
This unforgettable experience connects the two shores of the northern Adriatic – Venice and Lošinj – through culture, tradition, and the sea that unites them. It is part of the Europa Adriatica Nordest initiative, which promotes sustainable development through the meeting of history and modernity.
