At the Uljara Tuorić Gallery, two artists whose lives and creative work have been connected with Nerezine for decades present works inspired by the island, the sea and the underwater world. Barbara Trenc exhibits collages and watercolours inspired by Nerezine, her second home for the past 55 years, while Ferdinand – Nani Trenc creates motifs of fish and maritime heritage through the shaping of island stone and the making of mosaics. Their works bring together a personal experience of place, the island landscape and a strong connection with the sea.
The exhibition is held as part of the Program Plus.
